Нет ничего невозможного: да будет интернет для моряков!
Моряки любой национальности, которые не имеют доступа к интернету, прибыв на судне в порт Великобритании, смогут получить устройства MiFi и через них выход в интернет.
Совместный проект MNWB (Merchant Navy Welfare Board), @seafarers_uk и Департамента транспорта стартовал в Великобритании. Обещается, что с помощью устройств MiFi моряки смогут связаться с родными и близкими абсолютно бесплатно.
На судно эти устройства доставляют портовые капелланы или любые портовые представители. MiFi прибор оставляют на борту на какое-то время, чтобы все члены экипажа смогли им воспользоваться: кто-то после завершения своей вахты, кто-то после отдыха на сон.
MiFi, конечно, хорошо, но моряки в эпоху прогресса инновационных технологий моряки, конечно, хотят и надеются на бесплатный Wi-Fi 24/7 не только в каждом порту, но и на борту судна. Не правда ли, моряки?
