  • Хорошая успеваемость – средний балл не ниже 4-4,5 по пятибальной системе (курсант должен иметь при себе зачетную книжку или приложение с оценками к учебному диплому);
    Хорошее знание английского языка, а именно знание специальной морской терминологии (см. раздел «Marlins» на главной странице), разговорный язык на уровне Intermediate и выше, а также высокий результат компьютерного тестирования Marlins (от 80% и выше);
    Собеседование по специальности с капитаном-наставником или механиком-наставником соответственно (см. раздел «Собеседование» на главной странице);
    Необходимые документы согласно STCW – удостоверение личности моряка, туристический паспорт, сертификаты «Basic Safety Training» и «Training for Seafarers with Designated Security Duties».
    Все услуги по трудоустройству моряков, включая обучение в тренажерном центре, оказываются ДП «В.Шипс (Украина)» бесплатно.

  • Сolumbia cadets program was founded in 2006. This program by itself is desired to grow up its own specialists for CSM fleet from different maritime academies cadets. Career and employment is guaranteed for the cadets’ program participants successfully passed the sailing practice. During the practice Columbia pays cadets 500 USD monthly as a cadetship. Columbia also pays for their additionally required professional courses. Columbia does not pay cadets any other allowance after completion of their practice until Academy graduation. After Academy graduation program, participants have to get the appropriate Certificate of Competency and return back to Columbia. Columbia signs him on to one of CSM ships as a Junior Officer with an option of promotion to Officer’s rank within one or two months. Promotion goes smoothly in case of positive feedback from the ship. Ex-cadets, the program participants, have uncomparable advantages in their career growth in comparison with other Officers.

  • In 2010 Anglo-Eastern Ukraine launched its cadet program. Since that time 150 of our ex-cadets have already achieved officer’s position and eight of them have grown up from the cadet’s position to the position of Chief Officer or Second Engineer. We hire cadets for handymax and capsize bulk carrier vessels of world’s famous shipowners BOCIMAR, FEDNAV, COBELFRET, EBE. We usually place one Deck and one Engine cadet on each vessel.
